The U.S. women's gymnastics team won team gold. Simone Biles now officially has the most Olympic medals in U.S. gymnastics history.
The U.S. women’s rugby team took home their first Olympic medal, the bronze. Star Ilona Maher has become an Instagram sensation with 2.1 million followers. In other women’s rugby news, you have to see this play.

Egyptian fencer Nada Hafez competed while 7 months pregnant. Azerbaijan archer Yaylagul Ramazanova competed in while 6 and a half months pregnant. Beasts!
For the first time since 2008, the U.S. Men took home the bronze. Stephen Nedoroscik, a pommel horse expert, has become an online heartthrob being dubbed “Clark Kent.” He’s also a rubik’s cube aficionado.
